Kingdom Dominion

Would you like dominion over the spirit world in your city or region?

The Bible tells us we are not struggling against humans, but against principalities and powers of darkness (Ephesians 6:12). There are spirits that are in a spiritual war, against us, for the souls of the people in our cities.

The church is meant to have authority and dominion, but oftentimes we do not.

I have driven into cities and immediately recognized that they are ruled by spirits of oppression, perversion, addictions, etc. I have also driven into cities where these spiritual strongholds had been defeated and there is freedom in the spirit.

This is Kingdom authority and can only be given to those who are Kingdom minded.

If you are just looking to grow your church, you will never have dominion in the spirit.

It is not about manipulating people to attend your facility or even about freeing them from the clutches of evil so they will attend your church.

Let’s take a step back and see what this really looks like. Spiritual dominion is not something you stumble into accidentally. It takes intercessory prayer, fasting, consecration, tears, warring in the spirit, faith, and love; CONSISTENTLY. Sometimes it will take all of this for years before you are able to break through the spiritual front lines and take dominion.

So now you have given of yourself and battled for years and when you finally break through to dominion and see the spiritual landscape begin to shift you all of the sudden notice.. The church across town is suddenly harvesting many souls because the prince of your city has been defeated.

It doesn’t seem fair. The last three years that you spent battling, that other pastor was out playing golf. He was spending more time watching sports than praying. Now suddenly his church is reaping the rewards of your efforts.

You have to understand, this is Kingdom Dominion. When you step into this realm you are fighting on behalf of the Kingdom of Heaven.

If you are not Kingdom minded you will never reach this level of dominion.

Let's take it a step further. When you achieve spiritual dominion on behalf of the Kingdom of Heaven, you will also notice something else. Not only is the Apostolic church across town flourishing and growing, but also the Baptist, Methodist, etc.

You may not understand this, but let me explain.

When you have dominion over the spirits in your city, the people will be free from the influence of devils and demons. They will be free to make any decision they like. Many will choose to heed to the drawing of the Lord and come to church, but God will not force anyone to do so. They may still choose a lifestyle of sin, or even a different type of church that may not have the full truth.

They will not all flock to your one church, or even all to the Apostolic doctrine, but they will still be free.

If this is not what you want, you will never have Apostolic authority or spiritual dominion in your city or region.

If you just want dominion to grow your church you will never get it.

If you just want dominion to appear powerful, you never will.

If you cannot tolerate others being used equally or more than you, you will never have power and dominion.

If you are not Kingdom minded you will never have Kingdom power.

If you want spiritual dominion to control people, you need to repent.

I know this has been about what not to do so far, but let me encourage you today. There is a place you can reach in spiritual authority, where you can take control of the darkness in your city. You can literally take dominion over the spirits of darkness in your city and let the spirit of God reign. Your city will be transformed. When the Lord draws, people will be free to respond and seek Him.

You do not have to be a pastor or even in the fivefold ministry to walk in this kind of authority. You do have to be willing to sacrifice personally and walk in love. If that is you, declare war. Start fighting in the spirit. Dominion is within your grasp. Apostolic authority is possible.

2Co 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
