God will take care of it. He will. That is the absolute truth. We have to surrender to Him and He will, but I wonder if sometimes we take advantage of that phrase. It can be said with faith, I don’t see a way, but I am going to keep working, keep believing, and keep fighting, and God will take care of it.
However, it can be a way of escape for us to avoid a situation. God will take care of it, so I don’t have to do anything. I can sit back and let God work it out. I don’t have to put forth any effort, because God's got it. We can become lazy in our walk with God, our ministry, and our efforts.
You weren’t called to sit on the side lines, you were called to fight. You were called to have faith, and walk. Don’t sit down.
You’re not too weary.
You’re not too young.
You’re not too old.
You’re not forsaken.
You’re called. Fight the good fight!
11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. 12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. 1 Timothy 6:11-12
God will take care of our situations, but He typically will use man. He will prepare you, provide for you, and stretch you. He will position you.
Avoidance accomplishes nothing.
What if David wouldn’t have fought? The armies of the living God had been defied. David wasn’t going to let the enemy win.
47 And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord's, and he will give you into our hands. 1 Samuel 14:47
The battle was the Lord’s, and David knew it, but David also knew that he was going to use a man, and that man was him.
Don’t sit down. Fight the good fight. Don’t sit back, and expect the battle to be won. Put on your armour. God’s ready for you.
Esther was favored and positioned to save the Jews, but if she didn’t, God would win the battle.
14 For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father's house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this? Esther 4:14
Rise up. It’s time to step out in faith. Real faith. The faith that takes you to uncharted territories and unseen places. The place of faith that you have never walked before.
There is a war being waged. It will go on without you, but you’re chosen to go into battle. FIGHT.
Don’t sit silent anymore. Don’t take a back seat and listen to the words of the enemy.
Walk in the Spirit. Move forward.
We cannot let the comfort of having the actions and attitudes of I’ll sit back and let God do it and watch it happen when - He ordained you, positioned you, and gave you the power to fight!
When we don’t fight, the enemy wins. We give territory to the enemy. We let our dominion dwindle.
Sure, God will do it, but I don’t want to wait for Him to have to raise someone else up. It’s NOW time.
When the spies went into Canaan land the first time, the people chose to listen to their evil report. They chose not to fight.
3 And wherefore hath the Lord brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt? Numbers 14:3
(Numbers 13-14)
Oh if they would have only walked by faith and fought! The enemy had no power!
They didn’t fight and a generation lost out on the promises. A generation died in the wilderness.
When we don’t fight soul’s perish, dreams die, and promises are delayed.
It’s NOW time! Take your position man and woman of God and do what God has called you to do. It’s not time to quit praying, quit serving, quit worshipping, or quit digging in the Word. It’s go time.
Do what He has called you to do, and through His power, you will win the battle.
God has positioned you.
